Getting Here...

Tupelo, the birthplace of Elvis Presley and the first TVA city, is located at the intersection of highways 78 and 45 in Northeast Mississippi.

Driving Directions

Directions from regional hubs

FROM BIRMINGHAM, AL

Head WEST on US Hwy 78 for about 120 miles

FROM MEMPHIS, TN

Take 240 S to 240 E and merge onto 78 E at Exit 21 (toward Birmingham). Continue 94 miles and you’re here.

FROM JACKSON, MS

Take I-55 N to Hwy 82 (Exit 185) toward Winona. Take Hwy 82 East for 40 miles until you reach the Natchez Trace Pkwy. Take the Natchez Trace north (towards Nashville) for 55 miles, and you have arrived.

FROM NASHVILLE, TN

Take I-40 WEST from Nashville to Exit 80 near Jackson, TN, then follow the signs to Hwy 45 SOUTH. Continue on 45S for about 100 miles and you’re here.
