Baseball

  • Sportsplex at Ballard Park – Located in the 153 acre Ballard Park, these 9 baseball fields opened in the summer of 2008 and have played host to multiple invitational, state and national tournaments. Parents, players and coaches are raving about this fan-friendly facility. The complex features a 4-field wagon wheel and a 5-field wagon wheel complex. The 4-field complex has a grove of trees that provide shade for players and spectators. The 5-field complex features a large pavilion to allow spectators relief from the sun.   • Rob Leake City Park – Located in the heart of the historic Joyner Neighborhood, this park features 3 youth baseball fields that have played host to multiple state and regional tournaments. For more information, call Tupelo Parks and Recreation at 662-841-6440.
  • Theron Nichols Park – This 3-field complex is located in South Tupelo and is the practice facility for the Tupelo Rangers competitive baseball team and an overflow facility for the baseball complex at the Sportsplex. For more information, call Tupelo Parks and Recreation at 662-841-6440.
  • Tupelo High School Baseball Complex – Located in central Tupelo, this facility has been the home to the Tupelo High School Golden Wave and the Tupelo 49ers American Legion baseball teams for years. It has played host to multiple state championships and has played host to American Legion Regional Tournaments.
