Tombigbee State Park
Located just six miles south of Tupelo, Tombigbee State Park offers the finest in outdoor recreation opportunities. Under the management of Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks, this facility includes a lodge meeting room, seven air-conditioned cabins, two air-conditioned dormitories, 18-hole disc golf course, 20 RV sites with most being sewer sites, primitive camping area, nature trail, picnic facilities and two large pavilions, which can be reserved. Cabins and lodge meeting room rental rates are available upon request and entrance, boat and fishing fees are charged. Elvis Presley Lake & Campground
The Elvis Presley Lake and Campground is a scenic park named in honor of the city's most famous son. Located five miles north of the Elvis Presley Birthplace, the 850-acre facility is popular with campers, boaters, water skiers and fishermen. An all terrain bicycle trail, nature and hiking trails and volleyball courts are also available. Boat launching fees and camping fees are charged. The facility is managed by the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks. Information may be obtained through the lake manager by calling 662-840-5172.

Trace State Park
Trace State Park offers a quiet, natural retreat located just 9 miles west of Tupelo, one of Mississippi’s fastest growing cities. Trace State Park offers a variety of outdoor activities ranging from fishing and water sports to exploring miles of secluded nature trails. A special arrangement with the Pontotoc Country Club allows Trace State Park guests to enjoy the club’s 18-hole golf course without paying green fees. Trace State Park features eleven air-conditioned cabins accommodating two to six persons, over 600 acres of fresh water for fishing and water sports, twelve picnic sites featuring tables and barbecue grills, and 35 miles of multi-purpose trails. The Campground at Barnes Crossing
