4 Reasons Your Fur Baby Wants to Spend the Holidays in #MyTupelo

Traveling to Tupelo during the holidays? Bring your four-legged family members along! The city where anything is possible welcomes everyone to join in the festivities. In fact, we have put together our top four reasons that your pets want to spend the holidays in Tupelo.

1. Pet-friendly hotels
Don’t leave your pets in the doghouse, bring them along for the ride. Many of Tupelo’s accommodating hotels welcome four-legged friends. The Red Roof Inn, Candlewood Suites, and LaQuinta Inn & Suites each roll out the red carpet for canine and feline guests.

2. Parks-a-Plenty
Who says that kids get to have all of the fun? Tupelo’s parks offer the perfect opportunity for your pets to get out some of that pent up energy from road tripping. Visit Veterans Park and Ballard Park, both sprawling recreational areas with acres and acres for your pets to run and play. The Tupelo Bark Park is all about the dogs and your buddy may even make a friend or two.

3. Fabulous Food
We all know that Tupelo has some pretty amazing restaurants. In fact, we have over 160 eateries just waiting to serve you. Drive through Strange Brew Coffeehouse for a cup of joe and their baristas will have treats waiting on your dog, too. Grab a Puppuccino at one of the city’s multiple Starbucks locations. Tupelo has lots of great places to dine al fresco and you’re welcome to bring your pets along.

4. Insta-worthy Photo Ops
Was your pup really on a holiday road trip to Tupelo if he didn’t get his picture taken with Elvis? Whether it’s one of our many murals, the Elvis’ Homecoming statue in Fairpark, or even the porch swing at the Elvis Presley Birthplace, your fur baby will be insta-famous before you even hit the road for home. Don’t forget to use #mytupelo.
