LinkFest, Link Centre's annual celebration of creativity, will take place at Link Centre on Saturday, August 23.
This year's LinkFest kicks off on Friday, August 22, with a special Sessions: Open Mic - LinkFest Edition featuring Friend of Link Centre, Asia Rainey-Ani.
On Saturday, LinkFest will feature a Saturday morning family brunch at 9:00 AM, a FREE, one-time production by our friends with Creativity First at 10:15 AM, a FREE day of family-friendly activities from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and LinkFest: After Hours from 3:30 PM - until with activities and events for adults.
Saturday morning at 9:00 AM, kids of (almost all) ages can join our friends visiting from Starshadow Valley for brunch and can help them get ready for their creative quest. This brunch includes face-painting and other interactive art, games, photo ops, and more that will allow guests to be a part of the performance of "The Bark that Broke the Morning”.
At 10:15 AM, guests from our brunch and anyone from the public are welcome to experience Creativity First's original performance of "The Bark that Broke the Morning" in the Concert Hall - a FREE event!
At 11:00 AM the full campus opens for a day of FREE fun for everyone. Every corner of the campus will feature a different activity or workshop. There will be something for everyone, from young to old, so make plans to stay as long as you want after brunch. Choose among more than 40 activity sessions located throughout Link Centre. A few sessions will require advance registration due to capacity limits.
At 3:30 PM, LinkFest: After Hours begins! Join us for activities geared towards grown-ups, including Paint & Sip, a Ukulele Sing-A-Long, tabletop games, trivia starting at 5:00 PM, and a FREE Secret Art show to wrap up the entire day. Other than the Secret Art show, all LinkFest: After Hours activities will be ticketed events.
A $25 bracelet gets you access to all of the LinkFest: After Hours activities, your first TWO drinks for free, and snacks! Activities are also available to purchase separately.
