It’s a Wonderful Life
It is Christmas Eve, and George Bailey stands on a bridge contemplating the icy waters below when
Clarence Oddbody, an Angel Second Class yet to earn his wings, intervenes. When George wishes he
had never been born, Clarence makes the wish come true. George wanders through a Bedford Falls
rechristened Pottersville after the miserly, cruel Henry Potter without George there to do good in the
community. Clarence helps George realize how many lives he has touched, how many people he has
helped, and that he has been a success after all... and an angel gets his wings.
