On Saturday, November 7th, from 9:00–11:00 AM, Shawn King State Farm Agency is hosting the Tupelo Rock, Paper, Scissors Tournament at 306 Troy Street in Downtown Tupelo.
We're inviting up to 250 kids, ages 7–18, to compete in a FREE tournament for some pretty exciting prizes, including a year's worth of pizza from Vanelli's Bistro, ice cream from Cold As Ice Kreamery, and ICEEs/Slush Puppies from Dodge's!
But there's another part of this event I'm especially excited about.
Our tournament champion gets to choose a teacher to receive a $100 gift card to Reed's! We thought this would be a fun way to recognize a teacher who has made a difference in a child's life.
My goal is to create an exciting morning for local families while also bringing more people to Downtown Tupelo, where I hope they'll stick around afterward to shop, eat, and support our local businesses.
I'd love for you to consider sharing this event with your audience or even coming out to cover the tournament! With kids competing simultaneously at 8 different stations, it should make for some fun photos and video footage.
